Current Event 15:”Aquaman is not the only Mainer.”

Aquaman is technically a Mainer, Captain Marvel is a person who lives in Pine Tree State. Captain Marvel has grown through the many years since the 1960’s. The movie is set mostly in Maine and is full of lighthouses, lobster boats, and written in a Maine accent. The history of her childhood in Harpswell, Maine we didn’t get until last year. The long time Marvel Writer had to find the history of how Captain Marvel got her powers. And now this new Marvel character is getting there own movie.

My thoughts on this is that it's great to have more people from Maine in Marvel and DC. Also Captain Marvel is a great character and is making everyone want to watch their movie. I feel happy for this character and her accomplishments. She comes into view with joining Marvel and now she is getting her movie which is great many people want to see it. Aquaman has done great for a actor with his movie and now people have High Hopes for Captain Marvel, which may put too much pressure on her. To much pressure may mean that she may be scared and that is not good for an actor.
