Extra Current Event 13:”2019 Women's March”

The Women's March got more people watching it than there were in the March for Life. This march happened on Saturday January 19th, 2019. The March of Life had been reported for 10 seconds on the Women’s March segment of the show. The Democratic National Committee said they would not sponsor the Women’s March. The Women’s March still kept going even though people were not supporting it. The satellites were “divorcing themselves” because many groups didn’t agree with it, and had “unapologetic support” for the cause.

I disagree with what the groups are doing and saying. Also to see that the news have put a clip from the March of Life in the Women's March segment I mean that isn’t right. This movement hasn’t been getting the gratitude it deserves. This connects to the Women’s Suffrage movement in 1890 - 1920. This is connected by the Women’s March had been a movement just like the Women’s Suffrage movement. The March is fighting for a new policy proposal just like the movement. This is also trying to expand voting rights and other things and that was what the womens suffrage movement did.
