Current Event 10:”Trump Threatens California FEMA funds”

Trump threatened California that it will stop sending FEMA funds due to there wildfires. He tweeted “Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!” President Trump had charged interior, Agriculture departments. He is also making them create a wildfire strategy with state, and local partners by 2020. During wildfires Mr.Trump told states to clear out brush, and dead trees. Trump also tweeted “Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forest fires that, with proper Forest Management, would never happen. Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!”

I feel bad for California it isn’t their fault that the fires are happening and they are doing what they can to help out. They send teams out to evacuate the area. They send teams out to stop the fire. Then trump comes in and threatens them to get a plan and strategy by 2020!?!? I feel like California should have been thanked for this, nobody needs to go out and help but they do because it is there job and they want to help. Trump needs to start thanking California instead of threatening them with their funds.
